Vancouver police find missing endangered man, 37 Free

Update: Childers has been found and is home safe. The Vancouver Police Department is seeking the public’s help locating a 37-year-old man who went missing Friday afternoon. A police bulletin said Zachary Childers was last seen at 1 p.m. Friday at the Goodwill Store at 6425 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. in Vancouver. Childers is autistic and forgets his name, where he lives, and becomes agitated when tired and hungry. He also has mental health issues and takes medication for medical issues. Childers was last seen wearing a tan jacket, grey sweatpants and black slip-on tennis shoes. He is carrying a wallet with his ID and address inside. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. He is balding with short brown hair and brown eyes. Police asked that anyone who sees Childers call 911.
