By Shari Phiel, Columbian staff writer Published: February 2, 2022, 5:56am
The Clark County Elections Office will perform a hand count of about 600 randomly selected ballots to compare against machine results beginning at 9 a.m. Feb. 9. The county has chosen the city of Vancouver ballot measure to hand count for this comparison to ensure the accuracy of Elections equipment. The ballots also will be counted in the total returns on Election Day. Any voter that has not received their ballot should call the Elections Office at 564-397-2345 or email elections@clark.wa.gov. To download a replacement ballot, go to clark.wa.gov/elections and select Need a Replacement Ballot link. Print the ballot and return it by following the instructions included in the download.
