You can do it The Historic Trust presents a free online showing of “Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II” from 7-9:30 tonight. The documentary is a conversation among African American women about life during World War II. They heeded Rosie the Riveter’s call and fled lives as domestics and sharecroppers to join the 20 million women who helped America win the war. Learn more at www.thehistorictrust.org. Laugh it up Pacific Stageworks presents in-person performances of “Exit Laughing” at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Feb. 25 and 26 and at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sunday, Feb. 26 and 27, at TownePlace Suites by Marriott, 17717 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. Tickets are $20 or $18 for seniors, students and military personnel. Price includes appetizers and desserts. The show’s mature humor isn’t suitable for children. Learn the basics of bird identification and learn to recognize common backyard birds in Clark County, with a focus on sparrows. Attendees will share photos they’ve taken of local birds and the class will identify them together. Register through the Camas Public Library website at www.camaslibrary.org. Music of freedom In honor of Black History Month, Re-Imagined Radio presents a tribute to “Destination Freedom,” a late 1940s radio show that focused on the cultural contributions of Black Americans. This episode, which airs at 1 p.m. Monday on KXRW-FM and KXRY-FM, will focus on music, with excerpts from two episodes of the series, one featuring composer W.C. Poetic license The Camas Public Library’s next Poetry Open Mic Night is Tuesday on Zoom. Participants of all ages may read original poetry out loud or read from a favorite work. Each reader will have three to five minutes to read. Poems should be family-friendly. Readers should sign in by 6:15 p.m. and readings begin at 6:30 p.m. Learn more at cityofcamas.us/library.
