The La Center Wildcats girls basketball team jumped out to a 23-7 lead after the first quarter and didn’t look back in winning the 1A district loser-out game 61-32 over Eatonville on Thursday at Fort Vancouver High School. Gianna D’Emilio had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds for La Center (14-7). Kylee Stephens had 15 points, Alyse Webberley had 14, and Annabelle Atwood had seven assists to go with six points. La Center will play King’s Way Christian at 6 p.m. Saturday at Fort Vancouver with the winner advancing to the regional round of state.
