Retail store opening at Waterfront Vancouver

A retail store selling local goods and gifts called Pop-Local is set to open March 5 at the Waterfront Vancouver’s RiverWest building, according to an announcement from owner Jessica Chan. Pop-Local will host a celebration at noon that day at 111 Grant St., with music and local tastings. The shop was formerly located at 111 W. Ninth St. Chan raised $8,929 in a crowd-sourcing campaign to help with the opening and tenant renovations for the new location. Pop-Local will be the first permanent retail goods store at the Waterfront Vancouver. A pop-up boutique was temporarily in a spot at RiverWest until last year.
