A suspect wanted on several domestic violence charges was arrested after a short vehicle pursuit on Sunday in Vancouver. Owen T. Beckley, 34, was taken into custody at about 3 p.m. He was wanted on multiple felony charges including second-degree assault (DV), third-degree rape (DV), unlawful imprisonment (DV) and violation of a no-contact order. Sunday, the Clark County Sheriff’s office learned Beckley was in the area of East Fourth Plain Boulevard and T Street. Officers from the Vancouver Police Department and Battle Ground Police Department assisted in surveilling Beckley. When officers approached, Beckley fled in his vehicle eastbound on Fourth Plain. The pursuit ended in less than half a mile when a patrol vehicle executed a PIT maneuver.
