Vancouver police are searching for a man suspected in a Monday morning robbery at an OnPoint Community Credit Union inside a Safeway in east Vancouver. Police responded at 10:37 a.m. to the credit union at 2615 N.E. 112th Ave. A man entered the credit union, gave a teller a note and ran away with cash, police department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said. Kapp did not disclose the amount of money taken, citing the ongoing investigation. Investigators describe the suspect as a white man, possibly in his 30s, wearing dark clothing. He is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a medium build. Anyone with information about the robbery can contact the Vancouver Police Department at 360-487-7355.
