A 36-year-old Vancouver woman riding a scooter was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Sarah Seabridge of Vancouver was killed. According to a Sunday evening statement, at about 3:30 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded with the Vancouver Fire Department and American Medical Response to a collision at Northeast 172nd Avenue and Northeast Eighth Street in east Vancouver. Deputies determined Seabridge, riding a 2007 Argo AR-150 scooter, made a right turn south on 172nd Avenue from Eighth Street. Craig Violette, 51, of Vancouver was northbound on 172nd in a 2019 Honda CRV. As Seabridge was turning south, the scooter crossed the centerline and hit the left front of the Honda.  Seabridge was ejected from the scooter and sustained fatal injuries. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is investigating.
