Money recovered in Vancouver bank robbery, suspect still at large Updated 22 hours ago

A man armed with a handgun robbed a Key Bank branch Monday afternoon in downtown Vancouver, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash. Vancouver police responded at 4:37 p.m. to the bank at 714 Main St. in Vancouver. The suspect confronted a teller, displayed a gun in his waistband and left with cash, according to police spokeswoman Kim Kapp. Officers found the money near Interstate 5 and 39th Street, Kapp said. Police did not find the man. Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his early 30s, standing about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with a medium build.
