Likely the second most expensive home to ever hit Clark County’s market was posted for $17 million, owned by the DiscoveryOrg co-founder Kirk Brown. Located at 7721 S.E. 17th St., the modern waterfront home has seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. It spans 13,686 square feet and features an indoor bowling alley, golf simulator, sports court, pool and a private dock. Brown, who co-founded DiscoveryOrg with Henry Schuck, left the company in 2015 before it changed its name to ZoomInfo. The Brown property’s agent, Jonathan Romano, said that the home is attracting national attention. Romano scheduled a few showings for the house so far and has a “verbal offer,” he said. The Brown house’s listing price is only topped by the Dawson Ridge Estate in Camas that Audigy founder Brandon Dawson posted for $19 million in 2021 but took off the market without selling it.

The two homes signal a new wave of wealth that Clark County’s tech companies are bringing to the area, and an overall boom in the real estate market in Clark County. The Browns bought the 1.15-acre lot in 2014 for $1.65 million, but demolished the existing home and built the current one, according to county property records. The property taxes on the home are reaching around $44,000 a year, according to records. It’s a large increase from a decade ago, when the taxes on the property were around $14,000. Editor’s note: This story has been updated to correct Brandon Dawson’s first name.
