The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to identify businesses that may be victims in an organized retail theft case involving vape products. Three people stole vape products Feb. 9 and 12 from Jim’s Food Mart, 111 N.E. 164th Ave. With assistance from the Vancouver Police Department, the trio and the suspect vehicle were identified, according to a sheriff’s office Facebook post. All three suspects were arrested on suspicion of second-degree organized retail theft, and more than $1,500 in stolen product was recovered, the sheriff’s office said. Investigators discovered that some of the recovered vape products were likely stolen from other businesses: VRK Vaperk Peach Mango Watermelon, Raspberry Watermelon, Triple Berry Ice and Grape Ice. Elfbar Blue Cotton Candy, Dragon Fruit Banana Berry, Strawberry Mango, Tropical Rainbow Blast, Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava, Triple Melon, Lemon Mint and Pineapple Coconut Ice. If any of the listed items were stolen from your business, email Deputy Ryan Preston at Ryan.Preston@clark.wa.gov.
