One man arrested as part of multi-agency investigation

Authorities arrested a man Friday at a residence in La Center in connection with a Vancouver firearms trafficking and drug distribution investigation. The Vancouver Police Neighborhood Response Team, with help from the Safe Streets Task Force and Clark County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Detectives Unit, served a search warrant at the La Center residence, a police news release states. Investigators recovered 11 firearms, including a stolen rifle, two sawed-off shotguns and one sawed-off rifle; more than 2 pounds of methamphetamine; about 5,000 fentanyl pills; cocaine; crack cocaine; body armor; documents related to fraud, and other items, police said. Noah Sandoval, 41, was arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of 11 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, one count of possession of a stolen firearm, three counts of possession of a short-barreled shotgun, three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and manufacturing a controlled substance. The investigation is ongoing.
