The Vancouver Police Department is continuing to investigate the Sunday disappearance and possible abduction of a 17-year-old Vancouver girl who was found later that day in Portland, according to a statement from the agency. Before being reported missing on Sunday, Deliah Charlson had last been seen between 7:30 and 8 a.m. leaving her home and walking to work at Kitchen Table, 709 N.E. 136th Ave., in east Vancouver Police said she sent her family a text saying she arrived at work, but employees said she didn’t show up. Charlson was found about 6:30 p.m. that day in an area of Portland unfamiliar to her, near Southeast 77th Avenue between Woodward and Tibbetts streets. Information suggests a 2000s black sedan may be a vehicle of interest in the case, according to Vancouver police.
