Clark County public facilities board to meet May 1 Free
The Clark County Public Facilities District board will hold a public meeting from 3-5 p.m. May 1. The meeting will be held in person at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds. The district was formed in 2002 to participate in the study, planning and development of one or more regional centers that would promote tourism, such as the convention center in downtown Vancouver and exhibition hall at the fairgrounds. The five-member board is comprised of two people appointed by Clark County and two appointed by the city of Vancouver. Those four appoint the fifth member. The board typically tries to meet on the first Monday of February, May, August and November.
