Shane Work and Courtney Work, owners of Pacific House, opened their new late-night cocktail spot Foxhole Cocktail Den at 605 Main St. in downtown Vancouver on April 20. The elongated room features a bar with exposed brick along the wall dating back to the early 1900s. Private booths fill the other side. The owners and their bar manager, Stephanie Harkless (formerly of Life of Riley in Portland), developed a drink menu featuring straightforward cocktails with premium spirits infused with housemade simple syrups. Small plates featuring seafood dishes and vegetarian items are available, with more food options to come as the owners ease into service. Foxhole is open Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. (with door closing at midnight). Sunday is industry night from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
