Clark County Public Facilities District board applicants sought

Clark County is seeking applicants for a position on the Public Facilities District Board of Directors. The two-year term begins immediately. Created in 2002, the Public Facilities District participates in development of regional centers, such as the convention center in Vancouver and exhibition hall at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds. Board members receive $50 per day while attending meetings. The board typically meets the first Monday of February, May, August and November. Meetings are held virtually using the Microsoft Teams platform. To apply, submit a letter of interest and resume to Michelle Pfenning, County Manager’s Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000 or michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov. The application deadline is 5 p.m. June 30.
