Service for late Vancouver Public Schools teacher Adam Joy set for June 30 Free

A celebration of life event for the late Adam Joy, a longtime teacher in Vancouver Public Schools, will be held at 5 p.m. June 30 at the Unity Center of Portland, 4525 Southeast Stark St., Portland. Guests are invited to gather at 5 p.m. A service will follow at 6 p.m. Parking will be available in the East Parking Lot on Southeast 47th Street. Donations can be made in honor of Adam Joy to Friends of the Columbia Gorge & Bike Clark County. Joy, 55 — a beloved math and science teacher who had been in Vancouver since 2000 — died June 10 in a bicycle crash with a pickup truck.
