Fast-food restaurant Shake Shack has applied to open its first location in Clark County. Shake Shack Washington LLC has signed a lease to move into a building that will be constructed at the former location of the Shari’s Restaurant in the New Seasons parking lot in east Vancouver. The Shari’s, 2100 S.E. 164th Ave., closed last year and the building was demolished earlier this summer. Construction at the site has already started, with an area of the parking lot fenced off. Shake Shack, known for its variety of milkshake flavors and burgers, has six locations in the Seattle metro area and three in the Portland area, but none yet in Clark County. Documents on file with the city of Vancouver contain no further information about the project or when the restaurant is expected to open. For more information on Shake Shack, visit shakeshack.com.
