Letter: Price is right for Vancouver chief

By Bruce Hall, Vancouver Published: September 10, 2024, 6:00am

Regarding Vancouver Police Chief Jeff Mori’s recommendation for the next chief of police: I have known Acting Chief Troy Price since he came to Vancouver. I worked with and observed Chief Price from that time until 2006. Since then, I have observed from a distance. In my humble opinion, Vancouver would be lucky to have him as chief of police. He makes decisions that are from a person who cares deeply for their community and all of its members. He makes his decisions with much thought and for the people of Vancouver. I don’t know who the other contenders are, but Troy beats them all, hands down, in my book.
