Vancouver police arrested two teens with loaded guns outside of Mountain View High School on Monday after responding to reports of an online threat. At about noon, police received information from a student who reported a social media message about a threat of a shooting outside the high school. Investigators said the message appeared to be about an attempt to confront a specific student, and it did not indicate a date, according to a police news release. While police investigated, two officers responded to the school. The officers saw two males, each with a loaded gun, approaching the school and detained them, according to the news release. Officers booked Mekhi J. Parker, 18, and Azaviar D. Johnson, 18, into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of attempted first-degree assault, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm on school property and felony threat. Police said neither is a student in the district. Police are continuing to investigate.
