WSU Vancouver to host networking event for women in STEM

Washington State University Vancouver’s School of Engineering and Computer Science is hosting a free seminar and networking event for women interested in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in the Firstenburg Student Commons on campus. WSU Vancouver is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., Vancouver. The event will feature speeches from women engineers and programmers working at local companies and international companies such as HP and TSMC Washington. WSU alumni, male students and other local industry professionals are also welcome to attend. Those interested can register on the school’s events calendar at www.vancouver.wsu.edu/events.
