Expect daytime delays for ramp paving on I-5 in Vancouver through Thursday

Travelers should expect daytime delays on Interstate 5 in Vancouver through Thursday. Maintenance crews with the Washington State Department of Transportation began repaving the off- and onramps at Northeast 78th and 99th Streets on Monday. The following ramps will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Monday: Northeast 78th Street offramp from northbound I-5 at Milepost 4. Tuesday: Northeast 99th Street offramp from northbound I-5 at Milepost 5. Wednesday: Northeast 99th Street onramp to southbound I-5 at Milepost 5. Thursday: Northeast 78th Street onramp to southbound I-5 at Milepost 4. During the ramp closures, travelers will need to use an alternate route. Because paving work is weather dependent, it may be paused at any time due to inclement weather. Motorists can receive real-time travel information via the WSDOT mobile app or by visiting the department’s real-time online travel map at wsdot.com/Travel/Real-time/Map/.
