Vancouver seeks applicants for three advisory boards, commissions Free

The city of Vancouver seeks applicants to fill volunteer positions on three advisory boards and commissions: City/County Telecommunications Commission, Transportation and Mobility Commission, and City Center Redevelopment Authority Board. The deadline to apply is Nov. 22. The City/County Telecommunications Commission advises the Vancouver City Council and the Clark County Council on telecommunications and cable television matters. One full-term position is open, beginning Dec. 31 and ending Dec. 21, 2028, according to a news release. The Transportation and Mobility Commission provides guidance on mobility and transportation issues and ongoing feedback and guidance on implementing transportation policy through the City’s Transportation System Plan. One mid-term and four full-term appointments are available, according to the news release. The City Center Redevelopment Authority Board oversees downtown redevelopment consistent with the Vancouver City Center Vision plan. Two full-term vacancies are available.
