Crime fighting funds come to Vancouver, Clark County Free

U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., announced Tuesday that the U.S. Justice Department will distribute $6.3 million in grants to Washington police, sheriff’s departments and municipalities. Clark County and Vancouver will received $121,258 of that money, most of which will be used for leadership training for new command staff. The remainder will go toward new technologies, equipment and supplies, according to Cantwell’s office.
