The session on community policing runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Firstenburg Center Community Room at 700 N.E. 136th Ave. The event aims to inform people about the role of neighborhood police officers, the process to report crimes, strategies to prevent crime and methods to partner with the police department, according to a news release.
