Vancouver’s downtown was bustling before the pandemic ushered in an era of remote work. In the years since the pandemic has waned, office workers have yet to flood back. Employers across the nation are recalling workers to the office. Portland Mayor Keith Wilson announced Jan. 14 that he’d be bringing back about 700 nonunion employees into the office full time this spring.
