The Vancouver USA Arts & Music Festival, July 31 to Aug. 3 in Esther Short Park, has opened applications for artists and performers. Artists of all genres and backgrounds can apply for vendor booths to sell original artwork and handmade goods. There is no fee to apply. Artists should send three digital images of their work and one image of their booth. Fees are $150 for a 10-by-10-foot booth or $200 for a 10-by-20-foot booth for all days. Musicians, dancers, storytellers and performing artists can apply to perform on the festival’s outdoor stage. Performers should provide two to four links to videos and audio clips showcasing their work. Audiovisual support and stage management will be provided. There is no fee to apply and performers will be compensated. The call for artists and performers is open through Feb. 12 and selected applicants will be notified by March 31.
