It’s official. The former east Vancouver JCPenney building is set to become a 104,544-square-foot, mega adventure park. Flying Squirrel Sports confirmed Wednesday that the company is in fact opening a trampoline park at 19005 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. The company announced last year on social media that it planned to open at the east Vancouver site but hadn’t previously confirmed it was moving forward with plans. The city hasn’t yet received any land-use or building permit applications, according to a city spokesperson. But a spokesman for Flying Squirrel Sports said the company is currently in the planning and design phase of the project.
