Letter: Local service has value

For several years, the city of Vancouver used an outside office in Seattle to accept payments. Today, to my delight, I got a notice that payments will be collected locally again. Yes — employment in the city and I’m certain much better service. That was my experience, and I feel confident in good service again. Thank you for this decision. In a world filled with uncertainty, local service is a treasure.
