A vehicle crashed into the front of a building Tuesday afternoon in Minnehaha, but no one was injured, according to the Vancouver Fire Department. Firefighters were called to a strip mall at 3303 N.E. Minnehaha St., about 1:32 p.m. for a report of a vehicle damaging a building, according to a statement from the agency. A Vancouver battalion chief was the first to arrive and he found the driver had already gotten out of the vehicle and didn’t need medical attention. Firefighters turned their attention to the building. They isolated electricity and natural gas to the unit, while checking for structural integrity. The strip mall houses about half a dozen businesses. The vehicle crashed into Trinity Tattoo Gallery, which was empty at the time of the crash.
No details about the driver were available. The Vancouver Police Department is investigating.
