Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man they say set a portable toilet on fire behind an east Vancouver church. Police and Vancouver firefighters responded early Monday morning to Cascade Park Baptist Church, 1201 S.E. 136th Ave. A fire burned a porta potty and spread to a nearby shed behind the church, according to a police department social media post. The agency is investigating the incident as arson and shared surveillance video on social media of the person they believe is responsible. Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to call the Vancouver Police Tip Line at 360-487-7399.
