Fort Vancouver Rose Society celebrates best auction to date
VANCOUVER – Members, guests and visitors to the March 6 annual 2025 Rose Auction of the Fort Vancouver Rose Society spent not only a quality evening of fun and food but also money on 64 beautiful roses donated by the membership for the auction. The highest bid of the evening wasn’t for a rose. The $200 winning bid was for a tray of homemade cinnamon rolls and the promise of a freshly baked tray every month the rose society holds general membership meetings this year. The 2025 Rose Auction was successful, raising hundreds of dollars to support the society’s annual rose show. The 2025 Rose Show — 200 Years of Roses at the Fort — will be 1-4 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, 17402 N.E. Delfel Road, Ridgefield.
