I am sad and discouraged by what I see from this administration, led by this president. Today, another disturbing action was taken to rewrite our history and attempt to degrade and belittle those who have given so much to our country. Native American Code Talkers have been removed from the military websites. Black, Hispanic and women military heroes’ images have been removed from Pentagon files. Such actions taken by this government to remove so-called DEI are the work of those small-minded, fearful individuals in this administration who see themselves as more than others. Shameful and disgraceful. History will indeed be rewritten, but not in their favor. Their actions will “go down in infamy,” as the saying goes, to their detriment, exposing the un-American mentality they truly possess. This nation has been defended by brave individuals from every culture, color and ethnic background, giving their lives that we may live in freedom and dignity. History will remember who attempted to change history, and not kindly.
