Letter: Preserve handicapped parking
As a disabled veteran, I have noticed a disturbing trend around Vancouver: Seems a number of electric vehicle charging stations are going up in and around handicapped parking areas. On several occasions now, I have had to park away from my destination and walk back and forth more than necessary — and get soaked by the rain. Also, the goods I purchased were soaked and damaged. Vancouver should institute some guidelines on EV charging stations that maintain the integrity of handicapped parking.
