Donald Trump won decisively and is delivering on his agenda as promised. Democrats are surreptitiously undermining what Americans voted for. On PBS last week, Chuck Schumer said, the “good news” is the Democrats “put in” 235 progressive judges last year and they are intentionally ruling against Trump in over 100 lawsuits. Bad news is instead of our legal system working organically, the Democrats are executing a carefully orchestrated scheme to obstruct Trump. Don’t forget that federal judges are lawyers in black robes. They get lifetime appointments, no age limits and little accountability. There are plenty of moral and ethical judges in our country to be sure. But in all of these recent cases the “plaintiffs” are judge shopping in cherry-picked districts. Judges are supposed to apply the law, not alter the law. There are 94 district courts, at least one per state. How do district courts have any authority to create national policies? They don’t.
