Letter: Letter ignores solution

Regarding Bob Waber’s letter (“Keep focus on national debt,” Our Readers’ Views, March 22), I agree that the national debt is dangerously high and needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. But the real elephant in the room isn’t that the Associated Press will only “focus on any negative issues they can find” with Trump, but that much-needed revenue can simply be raised by having the very wealthy pay the same percentage in taxes that middle- and lower-earners pay. Where’s your outrage with that?
